Mechanical and Industrial Engineering students are
considered for scholarships and awards at the end of each academic
year. The majority of these scholarships are based on academic
achievement, so students do not need to apply. However, there are some
awards that have additional criteria such as demonstration of
leadership skills, participation in extracurricular activities,
financial need, contribution to the University or the community, etc.
Students who wish to be considered for those awards must complete an application
form (available from the Registrar's Office's website) by the April
deadline.
Some scholarships are open to all Engineering
students, while others are designated for students in a particular
program and/or year of study, so pay attention to those details when
reading through the scholarship summaries. A list of scholarships
available to MIE students can be found below, divided by program.
